Kenya’s top female disc jockey, Pierra Makena, has claimed that breastfeeding helped her to lose weight “in a very big way”.
Exactly three days after this year’s World Breastfeeding Week ended, the celebrity mother of one spoke about her own breastfeeding experience.
Taking to her instagram, the stunningly pretty entertainer, revealed that she was happy that her baby gal was healthy due to breast milk.

“Breastfeeding helped me to lose weight in a very very big way, The more you breastfeed the more you lose …that is after the first six months…And I was happy my baby fed well and is healthy!”
She seemed happy to have taken a break from deejaying to ensure that her little one had the best the mother could offer.
The high-class DJ is among the prominent and proud women who do not find it hard or challenging to breastfeed their young ones.
In the post, Makena said that she breastfed even after six months, which is not easy for all mothers to do, especially those with errands to run.
Her daughter, Ricca Pokot, is now four years old.

As the world commemorated the breastfeeding week, celebrity mothers spoke about their own experiences.
Former Citizen TV drama series Tahidi High actress Sarah Hassan said he biggest fear was that she would not have enough milk for her baby or that it would suddenly dry up. However, she managed quite well.
Breastfeeding in public, she said, was another challenge but she took it all in her stride.
