Double tragedy has visited the family of Chuka Igambang’ombe MP Patrick Munene after losing two loved ones just days apart.

Munene has taken to his social media pages to tell of his devastation after his lovely daughter and beloved dad passed away.

In two separate posts, Munene expressed that he is heartbroken following their deaths, which were caused different illnesses.

Apparently, both the little girl and the old man had been unwell.

Adding to his Facebook Story, the lawmaker shared handwritten short but heartwarming letters that his daughter would occasionally pen to him.

Tribute to Daughter

My Girl, my happiness, I think I have been in denial, all through hoping to hear different news, but today looking at you lying there, so much at peace, with no pipes, no pain, I now believe that you’re gone my Girl. Gone to be with your maker Mom.
My Heart is troubled, my mind wondering, memories of beautiful times I have spent with you my Girl are too vivid and fresh. You we’re my friend, my swimming partner, my Baby.
Since the first day I held you in my arms, a very strong bond developed between us. Tasha you brought so much happiness to me and your mother. To your brothers you made a great sister, the family peace maker.
I have seen you suffer Mom, in pain and agony, and you’re just the most strong person I have ever seen in life.
And now that your maker, the God we worship, my lord and personal savior has taken you home, we set you free our Angel.
We shall forever love you Mom, you shall forever be my Tasha.
Fare thee well My Girl. And to God be the Glory.

Tribute to Dad

It’s with Deep grief and ultimate sadness that we announce the passing away of our beloved Dad last night. Dad was a jovial, charming and very social Man.
We grew up calling you Daddy, and I can say I got the political bug from you.
The last conversation we had on Monday you were in very high spirits, wish I knew that was our last conversation.
May you fly with Angels Ntwiga Senior .
To God be the Glory.
