Roots Party presidential candidate Professor George Wajackoyah has appointed Wilson Muirani Gathoni popularly known as Jaymo Ule Msee as his spokesperson and head of media.
In a statement issued on Sunday, 12th June, Roots party Secretary-General announced that Muirani will manage communication matters of the party.
“Jaymo Ule Msee has vast experience in media, digital marketing and political campaign strategy. Further, he holds a degree in political science and economics from the University of Nairobi,” part of the statement reads.
“His experience and credentials are an asset to Roots Party as he is aligned to the ideology of Roots Party and Kenya at large and fully supports the Roots Party presidential candidate together with the running mate.”
Accepting his appointment, Muirani thanked Prof Wajackoyah and his running mate Justina Wamae for believing in him.
“It’s with utmost humility that I accept the appointment as the Roots Party spokesperson and head of media. I truly thank the 5th @profgeorgewajackoyah, our running mate Justina Wamae and our party officials for having faith in me to serve in our party to ensure we get a resounding victory on the 9th of August. It’s time for our generation to make the right choices,” he stated.
Muirani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Nairobi and has experience in digital marketing and strategy.
Wajackoyah who is hoping to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta has promised to legalise bhang if elected during the 9th August polls.
