One of Kenya’s top gospel disc jockeys, Dj Soxxy, real name Jackson Kamau, turned 39 yesterday, 21st February.
His loving wife, Wanjiku Kamau alias Ciiku Wa Soxxy, organised a very simple but classy birthday party for him.
The invites-only party went down at a roof-top venue in a undisclosed location in Nairobi.
Today, 22nd February, Ciiku Wa Soxxy took to her social media platforms to share photos and videos from the event as she wished her husband all the best in his new year.
“join me in wishing this amazing guy, Dj Soxxy, a happy birthday. May your year be filled with joy, fulfillment, and lots of God’s favour. We, your family love and appreciate you. May God bless you in your new year!” read Mama Elian’s birthday message to her man.
The set was very simple but it looked classy.
Dj Soxxy’s new age was also written in one of the logs placed right at the entrance.
Then the table set-up that said it all about the privacy of the party.
One could easily count the number of chairs prepared for the great day.
And then on to the cake. It was simply unique and cool.
It captured DJ Soxxy’s wish on his birthday, networking and partnerships for more money-making engagements.
There was enough to eat and to drink.
Dj Soxxy’s wife ensured that her guests were well taken care of.
And, of course, there was the presentation of gifts. Dj Soxxy was elated by the gifts he received.
His firstborn, Elian, also made his day special by uttering some sweet words to him.
And to crown the day was a special dance session for everyone.
It was the very last session and the guests got to enjoy the sweet view from the rooftop.
