Deputy President-elect Rigathi Gachagua hit the gym this morning to work out of his swearing-in today.
Gachagua and his boss, President-elect William Ruto will take the oath of oath at the Kasarani International Stadium.
Gachagua admitted that he has gained a lot of weight in recent months.
However, he said he did not have time for the gym since he had tight political schedules.
Gachagua says that after the inauguration, he will start hitting the religiously.
“Going forward, I will be back in the gym. In the next three months, I will be in very good shape and people like what they see. I will reduce from 94 kilos to 84 kilos,” he said at his Karen residence.
Gachagua also commented about his poor fashion.
He explained why his suits have been baggy during the campaign season.
“I did not have time to go the shop to buy new fitting clothes. Again, I had to make sure William Ruto wins the presidency. But in the next few weeks you will see me smartly dressed,” he said.
