Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia on Wednesday morning, 13th October departed to Egypt ahead of their Caf Confederation Cup tie against Ahly Merowe of Sudan on Friday 16th October.
Gor Mahia Head Coach Mark Harrison named a 17-man squad that consists of youngsters Benson Omalla and newly promoted John Nyawir.
Captain Harun Shakava, Ernest Wendo, Samuel Onyango, Alpha Onyango, Philemon Otieno, Gad Mathews and Frank Odhiambo also made the cut for the trip.
Their Caf Confederations Cup first leg encounter will be staged in New Suez Stadium behind closed doors due to Covid-19 restrictions.
