Harambee Stars Forward Ochieng Joins Township Rollers

Kenyan international Michael Ovella Ochieng has joined Botswana giants Township Rollers on a one-year contract.

The Blues announced on its official social media pages on Tuesday, 12th January.

“Township Rollers FC wishes to announce the signing of Ovella Ochieng on a one-year contract,” it said in a statement.

“The 22-year old forward is a Kenyan International with ten caps for his senior national team. He will add to our attacking options.”

Ochieng previously played for Kariobangi Sharks in Kenya, Vasalund in Sweden and Marumo Gallants in South Africa.

Since making his international debut for Kenya in 2016, Ochieng has been capped ten times by the national team Harambee Stars.

He scored his first ever goal in his career, in the match against New Zealand in Intercontinental Cup held in India. Kenya won 2-1.

Township Rollers are currently sixth on the log with 21 points, nine behind leaders Gaborone United.
