Famed Jamaican deejay, singer and songwriter Andre Hugh Sutherland, colloquially known as Popcaan in the music scene, has announced the rescheduling of his Kenyan mega-concert another time.
The concert was originally set for January 8 but was moved to February 26, 2022.
Now, taking to his official Twitter handle, the music maestro announced that the concert will not be held on February 26 and had been carried over to April 16, 2022.
“Niaje Nairobi! It’s Official, finally a forward to 254. After many requests from my Kenyan Unruly fans, @vibesonly_ke will push the event in Nairobi to 16th April 2022. Forward out, and let’s make this one another historic show!” He tweeted.
This communication comes days after the music sensation treated his Gambia fans with an exquisite performance at Independence Stadium in Bakau, a town on the Atlantic coast of the Gambia, west of Gambia’s capital city of Banjul.
“Thank you again to the smiling coast of Africa and @AbsoluteEGm! We made history in the Gambia last night!”
The event was attended by thousands, and Popcaan shared an aerial photo of the arena, which was packed to capacity.
However, Popcaan lost his mobile phone, an iPhone, at the concert and pleaded with his loyal fans to get him back the phone.
“Thank you Gambia, it was a historical night. Now to my loyal fans, find my iPhone and bring it to my hotel.”
