Gospel Artiste Kambua Mourns Death of Her Newborn Son: ‘My Tears Falling Freely’

Celebrated gospel musician and TV presenter Kambua has lost her newborn baby.

Kambua broke the devastating news in an emotional Instagram post.

The musician said she recently got a bouncing baby boy, but unfortunately he only lived for a few days.

“My little baby boy, Malachi, made a grand entrance into the world a few days ago. He was everything we had hoped for, and more, much more. Perfect in every way,” she wrote.

The Citizen TV gospel show presenter said that her baby boy fought every second to see another day.

“Malachi knew how much we loved him, and so he did all he could to stay with us. With the help of a most dedicated team of doctors and nurses, our little baby fought, until Jesus healed him by taking him to himself.

“Malachi is now free from pain, and worldly care,” she penned.

Although in tears, the artiste-cum-journalist said she had accepted the will of God.

“Our tears fall freely because our hearts are broken beyond words. But our hope and faith remains unshaken because we have our trust in dependable God. A good father.

“We may not know how to navigate the days ahead, but God does. And so we trust Him.”

She will be taking some time away from the public to process all that has befallen her and her husband, Pastor Jackson Mathu.

Kambua is the mother of one-year-old son Nathaniel.
