2021 was a dark year for rapper Kennedy Ombima alias King Kaka after he was admitted to hospital following a mysterious illness which was concluded to be a blood infection.

The Manifest hitmaker has since recovered, and 2022 is proving to be a prosperous new year for him after landing a deal with Sportsbets.io as a global ambassador as the company breaks into the East African market.

According to Albert Climent, Head of Africa, Sportsbet.io, they decided to pick the outspoken rapper due to his creativity and inspirational figure to the young generation to impact change on the society. He says that he is a leader and an outstanding gentleman.

“King Kaka is an inspiration to millions, not just for his game-changing music, but also his humanitarian work. He’s the perfect match for our fun, fast and fair approach to crypto gaming, and we know this is going to be a show-stopping partnership.”

King Kaka, is set to launch his campaigns with the crypto-betting leaders later this month.

“Sportsbet.io are true innovators, and that’s always something I’ll value. Throughout my career and with my music, I’ve tried to follow my own path, and I respect Sportsbet.io for doing the same. I can’t wait to get started as a global ambassador for the world’s top crypto-led sports betting site.” He said.

This is not the first time King Kaka is landing a global partnership. In 2018, he leagued with Remy Martin, a French firm that primarily produces and sells Cognac Fine Champagne, founded in 1724, in Cognac, France. It was the first time the upmarket brand was tapping into the Kenyan market.
