Talks of businesswoman Lilian Nganga using his new boyfriend, rapper Julius Owino aka Juliani to settle scores with his former husband, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, have been circulating on social networking platforms.
Some netizens believe that she and activist Boniface Mwangi have an agenda against the county boss and that’s why photos of Lilian and Juliani sharing romantic moments have been regularly making their way on social media.
“This is not good. Stop hurting Kavaluku (Mutua). Just move on in peace, you are endangering the life of Juliani,” former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko said.
The politician was supported by hundreds of netizens, who shared similar views.
In her response, Lilian denied having any malicious intentions.
“No way whatsoever the photos are meant to hurt anyone. I also ask, why should Juliani’s life be in danger for being with me?” she posed on Twitter.
On Saturday, the activist through his social media platforms released pictures of the couple happily in love.
In his caption Mwangi, a fierce critic of Mutua even before Lilian parted ways with Mutua, appeared to suggest that the county boss was still bitter after he was dumped.
“I’m here to offend those men who behave like their partners are personal assets. Assets are dead things, they have no feelings or emotions. Partners have flesh and blood, they can move on and you can do nothing about it. Money doesn’t make a man, manners do. Money without character is poison,” he wrote.
Interestingly, Juliani was not happy with the photos the activist shared. He took to his Twitter account to protest.
“Boniface Mwangi you know I love you. I know you mean well, but you should have consulted us before sharing the pictures. Bless up,” he wrote.
The tweet was deleted hours later.
