The government has now identified a number areas in Nairobi and Mombasa counties where the rate of coronavirus infections is high.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said that the 19 areas distributed across 12 constituencies recorded most cases in the two towns.

Eastleigh – 11 cases

South C – 7 cases

Kilimani – 6 cases

Pipeline – 6 cases

Kileleshwa – 5 cases

City Park Manji Court – 5 cases

Utawala – 4 cases

Buru Buru – 4 cases

Karen – 4 cases

Kibera Kwa DC – 4 cases

The CS said the Ministry of Health had began mass testing in the hotspots.

Kawangware is among places where health officials visited to test the locals but the turnout was low.
