Lovebirds who recently caused a huge snarl up along the Thika Super Highway have been convicted by a Nairobi court.
Tabitha Ndungu and his boyfriend caused a scene near Thika Road Mall (TRM) on Tuesday this week when they stopped their car in the middle of the highway and started making love.
Traffic police officers found the duo kissing passionately and getting down and dirty.
The cops ordered the couple to stop what they were doing and give way to other motorists. They were undeterred.
When the officers surrounded the car, the woman descended and hurled insults at them for the “rude interruption”.
She was arrested.
Ndungu was charged with causing a traffic pill up and offensive conduct.
She pleaded guilty and was handed a six-month jail term or a fine of Ksh20,000.
