Manchester United are now fifth place on the English Premier League table. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side thrashed Watford 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday, 23rd February.

In the live TV match commentary from Old Trafford, the visitors had pressed the United defence in the early minutes of the game. Watford’s first chance came in the third minute through Troy Deeney, but unfortunately, the shot was driven away by Luke Shaw.

January signing Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring for United shortly before the break from a penalty, after being knocked out by goalkeeper Ben Foster. In the second half, Anthony Martial doubled the margin with a clever lobbed finish.

Mason Greenwood determined the final score 15 minutes before time with a hard shot into the top left corner. Tahith Chong came in for the home team 10 minutes before the end.

With the win, Manchester United move up to fifth place in the Premier League table – four points after Chelsea. Watford remains in the bottom three with 24 points.
