Death is inevitable, but who the hell wants to die? Lol.
We all fear death and especially when in our prime and in good health.
However, for famous Kikuyu gospel musician Joseph Muruaru, death does not bother him at all.
He claims that God has already spoken to him about his death.
According to the singer, his maker intimated to him that he will pass away in the year 2051.
“I’m very popular with fans, but they don’t know that I know when I’m going to leave this world. The Lord told me it will be in 2051 and I will be 86. So, I only have 31 years to enjoy life.
“The other thing He told me is that it will be a peaceful death. I won’t get sick. Therefore, I will literally rest in peace,” he said.
The artiste quoted from the Book of Psalms 39:4 where King David prayed: “Lord, give me knowledge of my end, and of the measure of my days, so that I may see how feeble I am.”
Speaking during an interview on the Baruthi Wa Thayu YouTube channel, Muruaru said he was now focused on making a legacy to be emulated by future generations.
On how he now views life, in general, the Niwikite Wega hit song composer said he was now happier and make as many friends as possible.
“Death is one of the things that disturb almost all of us. So, because I know my days, I want a stress-free life. Today, even if I hear a bomb explosion in this building we are in, nothing can worry me,” the 55-year-old singer said.
Well, how peaceful is it to know your seasons on earth? He he he!
