MOI BURIAL: Why Sonko Was Blocked From VIP Dias

Suspended Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko had a rough time accessing the VIP dais at the burial of former President Daniel arap Moi at the Kabarak University playground.

Security officers temporarily prevented Sonko from reaching his reserved seat at the state funeral.

Initially, it was speculated that Sonko was unwanted at the event, but has established that was not the case.

The city governor was only briefly blocked for protocol reasons, which were later resolved.

A happy-looking Sonko later took his next to Busia Senator Amos Wako.

Earlier, the governor mourned with the family at their Kabarnet Gardens home, Nairobi.

Sonko also placed in the newspapers a tribute on behalf of the city county residents.
