Popular musician Esther Akoth alias Akothee has set bar too high for celebrity weddings after her big day in Nairobi on Monday turned out to be a classic wedding show.
Akothee walked down the aisle with her boyfriend, nicknamed Mister Omosh, who is from Switzerland, in a magnificent, grand wedding at Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club on the capital city’s northwestern outskirts.
The decor, the setup, the guests, the bride and the bridegroom were all were perfect.
The nuptials were attended by who is who in the country’s entertainment and political scenes.
Some of the high-profile guests included Mama Ida Odinga, Jalang’o, Terence Creative, Milly Chebby, Syombua Osiany, David Osiany, Karen Nyamu, Aisha Jumwa, Bahati, Diana Bahati, Simon Kabu and Kate Actress.
It seemed as though the guests had a memo on how to dress. Most of them wore impeccably-designed outfits.
Interestingly, Akothee had declared that all the guests must buy a gift for her and pay for their lunch as licence to attend.
Akothee oozed glamour in her white gown. Her man looked very dapper.
There was a thunderous, joyful noise when the lovebirds took their vows, promising to love and cherish each other in good and bad times for the rest of their lives.
