Two days ago, protesting motorists called for the removal of the contractor building the Matuu-Mwingi road, accusing him of doing sub-standard work. They alleged that the road’s condition had worsened, with potholes developing in the completed sections and posing a grave threat to them and their passengers. They also said that the poor roads damaged their motor vehicles, increasing their maintenance costs.
