Mugithi Star Joyce Wa Mamaa Unmasks Woman Accused of Spraying Her With Chemical at Birthday

Popular Mugithi star Joyce Wa Mamaa has thanked God after her recent birthday party almost turned tragic.

Joyce had invited family and friends to mark her milestone with her, but she says that someone had an evil plan against her.

There was a scary moment when a woman gatecrashed and allegedly sprayed the musician and others with what is believed to have been a chemical irritant.

It has not been revealed how the chemical affected their bodies, but such sprays can cause burning, pain, tears, inflammation, and even temporary blindness.

In a statement on her social media platforms, the singer said she has been treated and was recuperating at home.

“Hello, my fans! Thank you for your prayers, calls, and SMSs, I really appreciate you guys. I thank God I’m well and at home. No weapon fashioned against me shall proper,” she wrote.

She also revealed the identity of the woman, who allegedly tried to harm her.

“This is the woman who plotting evil against me. May the God I worship have mercy on her.”

Joyce did not disclose whether she knows her personally or if they have had a beef.

However, Litkenya.com has reliably been informed that the suspect had wanted to be part of Joyce’s birthday party by supplying the cake.

After failing to get the deal, she reportedly got upset.

Another female Mugithi musician has also been mentioned in the controversy, with sources intimating that she might have worked with the suspect to harm Joyce. The said artiste is reported to be jealous of Joyce’s enormous success.

Joyce has released several hits, including Wendo Waku Ndituragia (I no longer love you) and Wendo Wi Cama (love is sweet), in which she featured Mugithi maestro Samuel Muchoki aka Samidoh.
