When it comes to love matters, Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza wears her heart in the sleeves.

Mwangaza is today celebrating the birthday of her husband, Murega Baichu.

The county boss took to her social media platforms and penned a thoughtful message to the love of her life.

She expressed herself in many lovely and romantic words, and giving him his flowers.

The governor admitted that she is enjoying marriage and cannot imagine doing life with any other man.

“You are the reason why my life is full of laughter and joy. You are the man that has made my life the joyful scenario that it is. I look forward to spending more years of love with you.

“Happy birthday my love,Medicine, Handsome, wisdom, king,Highest quality,Romeo Integrity, Power, Ambassador, APOSTLE, sweetheart, property ,Commander of Ameru Airwaves ,Best, Guitar, Man,H.E Murega Baichu Himselfu. Love you,” she wrote.

The sweet birthday note also incorporate some love emojis.

Mwangaza reinforced her statement with several photos together with her husband, and boy they are a pair made in heaven.

While a good number of female politicians have been accused of sacrificing their marriages in favour of their political ambitions, these two have remained strong, with Baichu supporting his wife unconditionally.

As she crisscrossed the county hunting for votes to become the governor, Baichu accompanied him, not for mere appearance, but to entertain the crowds with his guitar and magical voice.

In fact, Mwangaza conceded that her gubernatorial bid may not have been successful minus her husband’s guitar. She said he boosted her chances of winning by 50 percent.

Rough Waters

The couple faced rough waters in the first months of her administration, as MCAs blamed Baichu for controlling his wife and disrespecting them.

The standoff prompted her impeachment, but her career was resurrected by the Senate, with lawmakers telling off the ward representatives.

Though they recommended that the county assembly and the executive find a formula of working together harmoniously, the senators alluded that the MCAs might have been jealous of the duo’s enviable relationship in public.
