“When a woman decides to revenge or cheat, even the devil stops to take some lessons.”
That a popular Kenyan meme, but to one in Nakuru County, it is not a meme.
The man, who is a casual labourer, has been under stress after establishing that his wife was cheating on him.
Desperate for help, he met three men, who claimed that they were witch doctors, and offered to find a solution for him.
But first, he had to pay Ksh135,000. He worked hard and pooled the money.
The fake waganga asked him to steal one underwear from his wife and give it to them for their magic to work. That’s exactly what he did.
After they did their work, he waited for the results.
However, weeks passed and nothing seemed to change. His wife continued engaging in extra-marital affairs.
He demanded his money from the conmen, but they refused to return it, prompting him to report the matter to the police.
Naivasha OCPD Samuel Waweru said police were hunting down down the suspects. They will be charged with the offence of obtaining money through false pretense.
