Never doubt that life’s a bitch, Talented Top TV Personality Julie Gichuru says

Celebrated TV Host Julie Gichuru celebrated her 46th birthday a few days ago and as they say in a Swahili proverb “Kuishi kwingi,kuona mengi”

The top TV Star so far has some lessons she has learnt in the last four decades of her life,She took to her Instagram to answer the most asked question about life that has found no answer.

Here’s the thing… never doubt that life’s a bitch, because it is… but do not become bitter! ‘Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.’ He did not say we would not walk through the valley of the shadow of death – that we shall. But He commands us to be courageous, and if we rest our faith in Him, His Grace abounds in our lives. So love the Lord with all your heart and soul, till people call you ‘foolish’. Those very people will marvel at the grace that will unfold around you. Because He IS Lord! Let the challenges mold you into something stronger, yet never lose grace and a thankful spirit. Journalistic career

Julie’s media career spans over 15 years, in which she has worked across the fields of broadcast, print and digital media.

 She pioneered an impressive number of TV shows, from the first Kenyan investigative TV series, The Inside Story on Kenya Television Network to various current affairs shows on NTV. Others programmes she saw through include ShowdownOn the SpotYou The Jury and The People’s Voice, and the celebrated news programme, Sunday Live.

She also did a peace and reconciliation programme, Fist to Five, at Citizen TV.

Julie’s family and marriage anniversary

 Julie Gichuru, and her husband Anthony Gichuru celebrated their two decades of marriage recently.

The couple has five children, and the broadcast journalist, entrepreneur and leading media personality, has credited her success to her husband.

Julie Gichuru took to her Instagram to say: “Thank you for 2 amazing decades Simba! On to the third. #WeFoundEachOther.”

Julie Gichuru oversees the production of the African Leadership Dialogues through Arimus Media Limited and acts as an independent Director at Acumen Communications Limited.

Anthony Gichuru is an entrepreneur together with Julie Gichuru, investing in the media, fashion, retail and entertainment sectors.
