Citizen TV news anchor Willis Raburu and his wife Mary have started the New Year with a painful setback in the lives: A stillbirth.
What should have brought joy into their lives brought tears instead.
The couple is mourning the death of their newborn daughter.
Mary has taken to her Instagram account to express her disappointment with God, feeling forsaken in her time of need.
“I don’t know if I can tolerate this. But I’m just real when I say I don’t know if He is trying to…I don’t know where else I could…
“My eyes are dried up, they spilled bout a thousand tears. The smell of abandonment is clear. I don’t see it. Maybe I don’t get it,” she wrote.
“HE must be sleep. Call me when He has risen. I threw my prayers to the ceiling but…”
Willis Raburu also announced on Friday, 3rd January that he was taking a break from the screen to heal.
