Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Treasurer Timothy Bosire’s wife Jane Boto Bosire is dead.
The party has confirmed the former Kitutu Masaba lawmaker’s wife died on Tuesday night, 20th July, at a Nairobi hospital.
“We are saddened by the news of the death of Ma’am Jane Bosire, wife to our National Treasurer Hon Timothy Bosire last night at a Nairobi hospital. As a party, we join in the pain that our National Treasurer and family are going through now and pray to God to grant them fortitude,” the party said in a statement on Wednesday, 21st July.
ODM leader Raila Odinga said the party would stand with Bosire’s family during this difficult time.
“Mama Ida and I send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Hon Timothy Bosire following the passing of your dear wife Jane Bosire. As a family and as ODM we stand with you during this difficult time. You are in our prayers. We ask God the Almighty to grant you fortitude,” tweeted Raila.
Other leaders including Kisii Governor James Ongwae, and ODM Communication Director Philip Etale also sent their condolences to the bereaved family.
“On behalf of the people of Kisii County, my family, and myself, I convey sincere condolences to @TheODMparty treasurer Hon Timothy Bosire ‘Riroba’ for the loss of your dear wife Jane. May God comfort you, your entire family, and Kitutu Masaba people as you mourn your beloved Jane,” said Ongwae.
