A 93-year-old retired astronaut has wedded his 63-year-old longtime girlfriend in a simple, but an extraordinary ceremony.
Dr. Buzz Aldrin was the second man on earth to visit the moon more than half a century ago.
And guess what, he loves his lover, Dr. Anca Faur to the moon and back, literary.
Buzz announced their nuptials in a sweet Twitter post.
“On my 93rd birthday & the day I will also be honored by Living Legends of Aviation I am pleased to announce that my longtime love Dr. Anca Faur & I have tied the knot. We were joined in holy matrimony in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles and are excited as eloping teenagers,” he wrote.
He wore a tuxedo while his spouse walked down the aisle in a glittering dress.
The newest couple in the world has received thousands of congratulatory messages from around the globe.
Many who have been thinking that there are past the ages of settling down said they are encouraged and more hopeful than ever.
