Newly promoted FKF Premier League side Police FC has announced the signing of speedy Gor Mahia winger Clifton Miheso and Zesco, Zambia, striker John Mark Makwata on free transfers.

Miheso joins the cops after declining a contract extension with Gor Mahia.

In a Facebook post, Miheso wrote: “Goodbye my friends, I am forever grateful. May God continue to bless you. Many thanks.”.

Miheso has previously had stints at Thika United, Sofapaka, AFC Leopards, Vaasan Palloseura of Finland, Golden Arrows of South Africa, Buildcon of Zambia, and Olimpico Montijo of Portugal.

Kenya Police have also secured the services of striker John Mark Makwatta and defender Musa Mohamed, with all joining as free agents.

Makwatta, who joins Kenya Police from Zesco United had been linked with a move to AFC Leopards before opting to join Police FC.

The policemen take on Nairobi City Stars at Ruaraka Grounds, Nairobi, on Saturday, 16th October, as the FKFPL resumes after the international break.
