Police Launch Manhunt For Man Suspected of Killing Ex-Girlfriend in Nairobi

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers are in pursuit of a man suspected of killing his former girlfriend in Nairobi’s Njiru area on Thursday, 21st January.

The unidentified man is said to have torched the woman in her house and fled.

Two house helps narrated how their boss, upon receiving her visitor (the suspect) around 8am, had given them time off, saying that the former boyfriend wanted some privacy as they addressed their stalemate.

Later in the afternoon, the house was seen in flames, and even after putting out the fire, nothing was salvaged.

“Her burnt body, whose hands appeared to have been tied before the house was set ablaze, was recovered at the scene, ” said the DCI in a statement.
