Radio personality and former soccer coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee has been involved in a road accident in Nairobi this morning, 16th October.
The Radio Jambo breakfast show co-host was heading to his work station when his car was hit by a matatu on Brookside Drive at Westlands.
His car was thrown into a City Clock, leaving part of its left side extensively damaged.
According to sources, Mulee was taken to the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi by his colleague at Radio Africa Group, comedian Jalang’o, for medical assessment although he is said to be in stable condition.
“I took Ghost Mulee to the hospital, and he has been admitted. That is why I was late. He will be fine,” said Jalang’o, whose real name is Felix Odiwuor.
Kenyans took to social media to wish the former Harambee Stars head coach a quick recovery.
Mulee is popular among radio listeners due his infectious laughter that leaves many people in stitches every morning.
Together with his co-presenter, Gidi Gidi (Joseph Ogidi Oyoo), the two are known for the famed Patanisho segment that brings jilted lovers back together. Gidi Gidi was part of the Gidi Gidi Maji Maji music duo that was famous for the hit song, Unbwogable.
