Police have dispersed a crowd that had gathered to listen to Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga and his team in Kiambu Town.

The mass action rally ended prematurely after the officers logged teargas, forcing the attendees to flee.

The emcee is heard shouting at police, asking them them why they were interfering with a peaceful meeting.

“This is a peaceful rally, stop lobbying teargas at us,” he said.

Raila has been traversing different parts of Kiambu County today ahead of Monday’s mega demonstrations in Nairobi. Some of the areas he toured include Ruaka and Githurai.

The opposition leader has hinted that Azimio supporters will march to State House to reclaim their presidential win from President William Ruto.
