American rapper Bobby Shmurda is to be granted a conditional release from prison on Tuesday, 23rd February.
According to US media, when he sets foot out of New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility, he will have a red carpet rolled out for him.

In an exclusive interview with US-based entertainment channel Billboard. Rapper Quavo, a friend of Shmurda, said that he would be there to pick up the Brooklyn star in style.
“I’m going to get my guy,” the Migos frontman said. “I’m personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I’m bout to go get him. I’m gonna let him show you how I’m gonna pick him up, yessir.
“It’s gonna be big,” Quavo added, when asked of what he expects from Shmurda’s comeback to hip-hop.
Shmurda was originally arrested back in December 2014 alongside several of his GS9 crew of friends, who included rapper Rowdy Rebel on charges of conspiracy to murder, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment.
He ultimately took a plea deal for fourth-degree conspiracy and second-degree criminal weapons possession charges along with a seven-year sentence. The “Hot N*gga” rapper was also denied parole in September 2020.
