Retired President Daniel Moi Back in City Hospital Just Two Days After Discharge

Retired President Daniel arap Moi has been re-admitted to Nairobi Hospital, only two days after he was discharged.
According to Lee Njiru, his Press Secretary, Moi is currently undergoing routine medical check-ups. He was readmitted last Saturday, November 9.
“He is in the VIP wing, a homely setup, to facilitate continued checkups and necessary treatment. I appeal to the Press fraternity not to cause unwarranted alarm by exploiting the credulity of the masses. Medical bulletins will be issued, as and if necessary. Once again I assure Kenyans that Mzee Moi is alert and being attended to by a professional medical team led by his personal physician, Dr David Silverstein,” Njiru said.
This is the third time the 95-year-old retired leader has been hospitalised in less than two months.  Njiru assured the media that his boss was in stable condition.
