Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has finally dropped the much-awaited bombshell that will undoubtedly jolt President William Ruto.
Raila, who jetted into the country this afternoon from South Africa and drove to Kamukunji Grounds in Nairobi, read Azimio resolutions to a roaring crowd.
The former Prime Minister declared that the opposition has rejected the August 9 presidential election in totality.
The ODM boss insisted that he won the election but was shortchanged by the electoral commission.
His allegations coming barely a week after an anonymous whistleblower, who claims to be working under Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), sensational claimed that Raila comfortably defeated Ruto.
Raila has therefore urged his supporters not to recognize the Kenya Kwanza administration and refer to first in command as “Mr William Ruto” and not President William Ruto.
He added that his team will not relent until they get electoral justice.
On Sunday, President Ruto, his deputy Rigathi Gachagua and a host of Kenya Kwanza politicians dismissed the former Premier, stating that he was looking for a backdoor to join the government.
The Head of State, however, vowed not to follow in the footsteps of his predecessor, retired President Uhuru Kenyatta, who accommodated Raila in his government.
Ruto reiterated that he can only collaborate with the Azimio chief while he is playing his opposition duties.
