Safaricom Schedules Another M-Pesa Service Maintenance Lasting 5 Hours

Safaricom Plc has announced another five hours of planned maintenance from Sunday, 28th June, midnight to Monday morning.

In a statement, Safaricom said that M-Pesa services will undergo planned maintenance between 12am and 5am.

During the period, all M-Pesa services, including airtime purchase, shall be temporarily unavailable.

“The timing of this maintenance has been planned to result in the least of inconvenience to our customers,” read the statement.

“We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused and thank you for your continued support.”

This is a third time in one month such planned maintenance are taking place, on Wednesday, June 17, the telecommunication carried out another maintenance where M-Pesa services including airtime purchase were temporarily unavailable.

Earlier on Wednesday, 24th June, Safaricom announced another scheduled maintenance for the mobile-money platform that was slated for the following day.
