Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has made a prayer asking for healing for ODM leader Raila Odinga.
In his short prayer, Murkomen wished the ODM leader a long life, adding that his national input was much needed.

“Very big matches coming up. No meaningful matches currently due to lockdown & weak opposition. Time to repair old injuries. Baba has been carrying a back injury caused by a two-footed challenge by @kipmurkomen in 2017 – which ref Chebukati ignored but was later reviewed by VAR,” Mohamed Wehliye tweeted.
Other netizens have also taken to social media platforms to wish the former premier quick recovery, a majority of them highlighting the many achievements associated with the veteran politician
According to Odinga family spokesperson and elder brother Oburu Oginga, Raila left the country on Sunday, 21st June, to undergo a minor surgery in Dubai.
Dr Oburu said his younger brother was in stable condition and that his health should not be a major source of concern as some had made it appear.
Raila’s handlers in ODM had earlier denied that their boss was out the country for medical reasons.
Social media influencer Dennis Itumbi had claimed that the former Lang’ata MP had been evacuated to China for treatment.
