So Adorable! Meet KTN News Anchor Zubeida Koome’s Daughter

Zubeida Kananu Koome is a Kiswahili reporter and news anchor at KTN news is good at what she does, but is also a loving and caring mother.

The ever-smiling anchor has been married to Kelvin Koome for 11 years. They have two children together, a boy and a girl.

Their firstborn turned 10 today, 15th March.

To mark her pretty daughter, Nadia’s birthday, the celebrity mother took to her social media platforms.

“It’s a great day 🥳🥳🥳 My shining star turns 10 today. I have every reason to celebrate and be grateful,” she wrote in part.

The Kioo cha Hoja TV programme host penned a nice birthday wish for her daughter.

“This girl is such a blessing….Happy blessed birthday princess Nadia ❤️❤️ My love for you is endless 🥳 May God guide and protect you now and forever.” she added.

Zubeida’s secondchild, Bundi, turned three last month on Valentine’s Day.

The loving mother had a nice message for her little boy.

“This is one special day of my life. On a day like this, three years ago, my super scientist was born. He has brought us so much love, peace and happiness. I thank God for bringing him into our lives. My you live to be a loving, caring and God fearing man, a role model to all. I love you my son. ❤️ Happy birthday to you,” she wrote.

Zubeida’s TV Journey

Born and raised in Meru County, and she Joined the Standard Media Group-owned station in January 2007.

Zubeida Koome was an intern for three months and afterwards sigmed a one-year contract with the media house.

In 2009, she was employed as a reporter on a permanent basis.

A few months later, she was promoted to a senior reporter.

In 2012, she became the political editor for KTN LEO.

Zubeida is now a producer-cum-Kiswahili news anchor for KTN LEO.

She schooled at Kenya School of Professional Studies, Shang’ Tao Media Arts College, and Crossworld Institute, where She graduated with a Diploma in Journalism.

She later joined Africa Nazarene University, Nairobim for her degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies.
