Kenyan international Whyvonne Isuza has after ditching AFC Leopards Sports Club joined the moneys bags Wazito FC.
According to a statement by the club, Isuza becomes its fourth January signing following the arrival of Kennedy Owino, and Dennis Ng’ang’a from KCB, and Dennis Sikhayi, also from Leopards.
Wazito CEO Dennis Gicheru lauded Isuza’s signing as a good addition to his side.
“We are delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of Whyvonne Isuza from AFC Leopards.
“Isuza is a national team player and is definitely a good addition to the team. The technical bench recommended his signing because they understand his abilities and we are glad that he agreed to join us. His addition makes us stronger,” stated Gicheru.
Team manager Bramwell Makotsi said Isuza’s arrival would greatly improve our midfield.
“Isuza has been one of the best midfielders in the Kenyan Premier League in the past few years. He is a versatile player who can play in different positions. We are trying to beef up the team by getting quality players,” he said.
The Kenyan international was in the Harambee Stars team that won the 2017 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup title in Machakos. He was also in the squad that participated in the 2019 edition in Uganda.
The midfielder has previously played for Sparki Young Stars, Mombasa United, Thika United, Nairobi Stima and Mathare United.
