President Uhuru Kenyatta has become a grandfather for the second time after his son Jomo and daughter-in-law Fiona Achola welcomed a newborn, a baby boy.
The baby has has been named Uhuru after his grandfather.
It is reported that the newest member of the Kenyatta family arrived on 27th May at Nairobi Hospital.
When congratulated during a recent interview with NTV, the President said: “I’m very excited.”
President Uhuru Kenyatta became a grandfather for the first time in November 2017 after Jomo and Fiona got their first child.
The baby girl was named Wanjiru after her grandmother, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
The couple have managed to keep their affairs very private and until today, no photo of Baby Wanjiru has ever leaked, three years later.
Also, no image of their wedding, which happened in April 2018 has ever been seen on social media.
The lovebirds wedded in an invite-only ceremony at State House, Nairobi.
The Kenyan version of the UK royal wedding was attended by who is who in the country, but they were not allowed to have any gadgets that could capture photos.
Fiona is a niece to Defence Cabinet Secretary Rachel Omamo.
