Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta was reportedly aware that intruders would invade his family’s Northland Farm in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
According to one of his bloggers Wahome Thuku, Uhuru received information about the intrusion days ago.
Thuku claims Uhuru opted not to act.
“Uhuru knew about the intended raid since Saturday. He allowed it to go on uninterrupted to bring out the real face of the Annex dude,” he wrote on Facebook.
The daring goons raided the property on Monday morning and spent the whole day looting and destroying things. They were spread across the vast farm.
There are those who cut trees and ferried them and some made away with high prized livestock and sold them cheaply to motorists in Kamakis along the Eastern Bypass.
Some were spotted trying to subdivide the land for themselves.
The invaders alleged they were sons of Mau Mau and had gone to repossess what was grabbed from their grandfathers.
