The firstborn daughter of celebrity singing couple Wahu Kagwi and Nameless, whose real name David Mathenge, has gracefully grown and is a beauty.

Turning 14 today, 1st August, Tumiso Mathenge, had the best day of her life as mother came out in full force to show her immense love.

Taking to her Instagram account, Wahu penned a sweet message to the teenager.

“IT’S TUMISO’S 14th BIRTHDAY! My darling Tumi Mathenge, it seems just like the other day when I was burping you. I’m in awe of the young lady you’re turning out to be and I can’t wait to see the amazing things that God has in store for you.”

She noted

“Sweet Love,” was the name of the birthday girl today. The talented mother paid glowing tribute to her princess.

“Happy happy birthday, my sweet love…may your year be filled with fun, adventure, excitement,and discovery. I love you with everything that I have and everything that I am.” she added

The couple have a younger daughter, Nyakio Mathenge.

Nameless and Wahu have enjoyed great success in their musical careers, but are also among the few celebrities to keep their marriages intact despite all the fame and challenges that go with it.

They serve as role models to many young people, having such a healthy marriage, especially during this era of social media and fake news.

The power couple have been together for 14 years.

Wahu says marriage was tough for them during the first few years but learnt how to live in harmony with each other.

The mother of girls advocates the importance of fathers being in their daughters’ lives, saying that it is absolutely important.

In 2008, Wahu Mathenge won the Best Female Artiste prize at the inaugural MTV Africa Music Awards for her Sweet Love song, at The Velodrome, in Abuja, Nigeria.
