Narok Senator Ledama ole Kina has hit out at Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader Alfred Mutua’s departure from the Azimio coalition.

In a tweet on Sunday, 9th May, the senator said that those who had moved to the Kenya Kwanza caravan were not in the Azimio coalition adding that their absence will not be felt.

Regardless of their move, Olekina maintained that Raila Odinga was going to be the next president.

Senator Olekina further said the Azimio One Kenya Alliance was not going to miss the defectors telling them to enjoy a blackout in the next government.

“I know for sure Raila Odinga will be the 5th President of Kenya. Those moving to KK were never with us! We will surely not miss you … enjoy a blackout in the next Government,” Ledama wrote.

On Monday, 9th May the outgoing Machakos Governor Mutua ditched the Azimio la Umoja outfit citing dishonesty within the coalition.

The Machakos Governor also claimed that five more parties were on their way out of the Azimio outfit.

“We (Maendeleo Chap Chap) are convinced that the best team to transform Kenya is Kenya Kwanza and the leader to transform Kenya is William Ruto. I am aware that 5 other parties are planning to leave Azimio due to their dishonesty and zoning,” the Machakos Governor stated.

He further said that they agreed with Ruto on zero zoning, meaning that his party would be allowed to field candidates in all parts of the county.
